Hospitality Essentials - more products

We have been busy with the loadings of more and more new products to our recently LIVE site www.sb-he.com - the new range includes over 500 exciting products designed and selected for hotels, resort, restaurants and spas.  We invite you to visit the site regularly and see what new and exciting products we have added.

Our new showroom at Gunung Salak 31A features a sample range of all products from the website - and already the sales have begun.  Our first orders are on their way to France, Carribean, Florida, and more on the way!

We are excited about this new division of Sourcing Bali and if the response we've received thus far is any indication, we are going to be very busy !!!

We say a warm welcome to Linda Wang - new Senior Sales Executive for Hospitality Essentials - Linda will be handling all online inquiries from the site - you can email linda@sb-he.com

New projects

We are delighted to confirm two new projects for July.

After months of preparation, we have  just received confirmation of a 60 room refubishment in the Carribbean Island of Guadalupe and a new 20-rooms wing for an existing hotel in the Solomon Islands.

We have been assisting with the design and supplier selection for these two projects and orders are now underway.  Production will be 3 & 4 months respectively, and we look forward to sharing news of the completion later in the year.

New regulations - July 2007

Effective July 2007, containers requiring special fumigation treatments (ETO - Ethylene Oxide or Phitosanitary fumigation) are required to remain in place for 24 hours after treatment process in the event that the container is to be trucked by road to Surabaya.  Shipments by sea from Bali to Surabaya are not effected.

This change means that we need to keep in mind one additional day for loading / transit for any containers going by road.

Fiji Direct - consolidated containers

We successfuly completed another FIJI DIRECT consolidated container from Bali to Fiji in late June. Whilst business has slowed as a result of the military coup, we do still continue to receive orders and requests for shipping to Fiji.

Our service is BALI'S ONLY consolidated freight service to Fiji - and provides up to 40% discount from regular shipping rates (LCL) to Fiji - 1-2 cbm @ US$235, subsequent cbm at US$185 - compare with other freight companies and see why Sourcing Bali / RIM Cargo's FIJI DIRECT is Bali's number one LCL freight service to Fiji.

Our next schedule shipment is planned for early August - so place your orders NOW to ensure space availability.  www.sourcing-bali.com/fijidirect

Great feedback from RIM CARGO customers

We continue to receive positive resports from our customers all over the world concerning the high standard of packing materials and quality of packing of our containers.

We invest time to train our packing crews on the importance of quality and care  - ensuring that all goods are thoroughly and carefully insulated against any possible movement in a container and providing safe travel to their destination.

Our crews receive a perfomance based incentive for all safe arrival of containers - empowering them with the responsibility for high performance work.  We are proud to say it is a success.  Each month, depending on the volume of business, our crews can earn 10-20% extra bonus as a result of their good work.

Any mishaps or breakages that occur as a result of poor handling, are also the responsibility of the crew; encouraging them all to pay attention to any potential problems with packing and handling.

For examples of some customers comments, you can read on line at www.rimcargo.com

Staff Party

As promised, we bring you news and images of the annual Sourcing Bali / RIM CARGO staff party - held in May, 2007.  We hope you can recognise some faces !!

This is an especially exciting time for the crews, as this coincides with the company's annual bonus payout. Its also a great time for all the families to get together for some fun and games.

At the party, the crew is divided into teams, and requested to perform a musical number - demontrating the theme 'we are family' - needless to say there was much fun and laughter and all prizes were well deserved. Prizes includes DVD players, portable cooktops, Cassette Radios, portable fans, and more.

This years attendance, included partners and kids - 200!   Who knows what we'll be next year??

Upgraded Fleet

We've traded in our oldest Sourcing Bali vehicle to make way for two new cars for the SB range.  This expansion helps to improve the efficiency of our crew, ensuring prompt placement of orders and supplier visits etc.

With the new Hospitality Division and Handicraft division (January 2007) - we frequently had a shortage of transport for the Account Managers.. hopefully, this is now resolved.

These new additions proudly feature the new logo of Sourcing Bali - as seen with our new Billboards at the front of our office.
