Sourcing Bali News

We are very proud to once again bring you the latest updates from Sourcing Bali and our supplier partners.

In this October edition we bring you the latest uploads to the website www.sourcing-bali.com , news of newest suppliers, plus details of recent projects.

We have been extremely busy with repeat and new orders over the last few months, business levels have returned to normal.  All the crew at Sourcing Bali, Hospitality Essentials and Rim Cargo have been working hard to meet the new demands.

Buyer visits have been at record levels over the past two months, making September and October the busiest ever months.. it's great to see, and we hope the trend continues.

Our new showroom has been a GREAT success, with many of the display items being sold off the floor - new stock items are arriving soon.

As always, we thank you ALL for your great support, please don't hesitate to email me if we can be of any service at any time.  desmond@sourcing-bali.com

Warmest regards,

New Products - Outdoor bean bags

Sourcing Bali was recently asked to source 'over-sized' bean bags for a dive boat in the Maldives - the design was HUGE, and perfect for outdoor lounging around the pool or decking.

Made with Sunbrella outdoor fabric, including interior bladder for safety, these enourmous bean bags will surely be a big hit for any outdoor sun areas. A wide range of colours are available - design changes are also possible.

Design shown - 1.8m diameter x 1 meter high and 1.8m x 1.8m.

Customised Furniture
Much of the work that we source for private buyers is customised.

Often, as in the case of new home owners, there is a need for customised wardrobes, cupboards, workstations etc.  All of these options are easily made here in Bali, under our watchful eye and attention to detail.

Customised items are not featured on the website as purchaseable products, as these are often built for a specific size / shape / place.  We can however make a wide range of customised items and / or modify any of the designs already on our site - to suit your specific needs.

So, if you have a specific design that you need to have customised, please let us know and we will be pleased to assist.  In many cases, a sketch or a picture and the sizes is all that we need.

Customer Testimonials
Your feedback is important to us.

If we fail in meeting your expectations, then we need to know.  If we meet or exceed your expectations, then we also need to know - as both are valuable training tools for us - used to help our crew understand the value of good service.

There are many sourcing companies in Bali - and at first glance it may be difficult to know the difference.  However upon closer inspection, it soon becomes apparent that our points of difference is our passion for customer service, our prompt response to emails, our attention to detail for quality control, and our unparralled professionalism and friendliness !!!

We've recently caught some companies stealing our website data and text, attempting to use our company name, and claiming to be us.  There is only ONE Sourcing Bali !

We are committed to our customers and we work hard to improve our service to you.  Your business is  VERY important to us, so please allow us to know how we can serve you better.

Oct 09 – Robert Rigutto

I have finally received the package and you did an amazing job packing these artifacts , very impressed , I only had a cracked tongue section of the horse but it will easily be fixed with some glue .

You guys did an amazing job and thank you .

we had a little misunderstanding with communication in the but I am very satisfied with the shipping and the way you handled the packing .

I will definitely recommend you to my friends .

 Sept 09 – Doug & Jon

May we, through you, pass on to the whole team at RIM Cargo our heartfelt thanks for the excellent way in which our first consignment was packed.  Even though in the 177 boxes there were many items of a breakable nature, not a single breakage occurred.  This was despite Australian officials unpacking the entire container in Melbourne, before the goods came on to us at XXXXX, 150 kilometers from point of unpacking, on two regular trucks.

Terima kasih banyak!

Many thanks,
Desmond & Crew

Bali Street Kids
In our last edition of Sourcing Bali news, I mentioned our most recent foundation which we are supporting.  The YKPA (Yayasan Kasih Peduli Anak) is a newly founded charity which provides support and shelter to street kids, who would otherwise be begging in and around Kuta.

The foundtation currently cares for 15 kids - ranging in age from 6-14 - boys and girls.  In addition to the kids that stay at the home, the foundation also provides free ' saturday reading and maths classes, on the beach at Legian, every Saturday - this is attended by 10 or so kids who are not yet ready to come off the streets, but who desperately want to learn to read.

These kids are usually forced by parents or family to beg, they usually come from the poorer, Eastern Bali area of Karangasem.  There are very few options available for these kids and their families.

We recently paid a visit to the home, and made some donations of food, equipment, groceries, supplies, clothes, toiletries, sporting equipment etc - and we shared lunch with the kids.

The foundation was established by Putu Etik Artini and Michael Pate - A Balinese woman and her US born partner.  The foundation is in constant need of financial support to care for these kids - we have assured them of our ongoing assistance - and we hope that you can too.

If you would like to assist us / them - with donations - please email them directly on etiartini@gmail.com or contact me for news of our next fundraising events.

We thank you for your support.
