Welcome to another edition of Sourcing Bali News.
We are proud to bring you the latest updates from Sourcing Bali and our supplier partners.
In this edition, we share news of the latest uploads to the website. Ray has been busy cropping images and uploading data - the new overhaul is complete and the website now includes hundreds of new products. We have had a very busy July and August with a record number of client visits - the slow down in the economy seems to have turned and we are receiving many repeat and new orders. We thank you for your tremendous support and look forward to being of continued service.
Our Hospitality Essentials brand www.sb-he.com continues to grow from strength to strength - with new orders being confirmed from Abu Dhabi, Maldives, Fiji, Anguilla, Bahrain, Ekaterinburg, Australia, Tanzania and many other desitinations.

| New products - Lanterns |

Trendy, stylish, affordable - we have a new range of lanterns in our showroom and on our website - these are available in a variety of styles / shapes and finishes - with the most popular being antique or polished.
These lanterns are suitable for indoor or outdoor, and can add a special touch to any party decor. Design modifications are possible, and candle sizes can be changed. We have them in sets of three or they can be sold individually.

We've added a lot more paintings on line - although this is just a very small % of the wide range of painted artwork that is available from Sourcing Bali.
Retailers take note, the potential mark up prices on these art peices is significant, so if you are not currently including these in your range of products, you might want to consider adding some styles.

| New Products - Hand Painted silk fans |

We have a beautiful new range of silk fans available exclusively to Sourcing Bali. These are all made by hand, and beautifully gift packed.
There is a wide range fo designs available in three sizes - motifs can be customised, and corporate branding is also possible.

Over the years we have assisted many of our corporate clients with the design and supply of corporate apparel, polos, uniforms for spa, resorts, restaurants and gift shops - including waiters uniforms, aprons, team uniforms for sporting groups etc.
We are currently working on a range of uniforms for one of our Fiji Clients... made specifically to the client's specific design and motif.
Embroidery, batik and screen printing options are available for branded items - we can also complement the corporate range with gift items and promotional goods such as key chains, umbrellas, coasters, drink coolers, ballpoint pens, etc etc

| Recycled merbau Furniture |

We are pleased to present a new and exclusive range of laminated timber furniture made from recycled off cuts of merbau timber.
Merbau is an Indonesian hardwood, it has a grainy, contrasting texture with volours varying from brown to red. It looks similar to coconut wood.

| Maldives Sales Trip |

Tali and I recently attended the MHTE 2009 (hotel trade exhibition) in Maldives to promote the Hospitality Essentials brand of products and to meet with hoteliers and hotel owners.
We have been proudly assisting many hotels in the Maldives with orders of accessories for guest rooms, bathrooms, restaurants and spas and we are expading our role to include furniture, fixtures and accessories.
We will also be attending other trade events around the world, promoting our procurement services for hotels and resorts - we look forward to bringing you updates in forthcoming editions of Sourcing Bali News.

Owned and operated by Sourcing Bali / RIM CARGO - this unique consolidated service is available to ANYONE who wishes to take advantage of these GREAT rates. So, if you or your customers are shipping LCL to FIJI from Bali, you'd be crazy not to contact us for details of our low, low rates.
The next FIJI DIRECT consolidated container is scheduled for September 14th - Note, Indonesian PORTS will CLOSE for Ramadan from 17th September.

| Personal Shopping Services |

Our Personal Shopping Services take the headache and worry out or buying for your home or personal use. if you are planning a visit to Bali, and would like to purchase bulky items to ship home - look no further.
Sourcing Bali operates Bali's leading Personal Shopping service. Our dedicated Account Managers have years of experience assisting thousands of happy customers with their personal orders, including custom designed furniture and unique art peices.
A personal shopping program is available for 5 or 8 hours. It includes a customer service trained driver, airconditioned car and a dedicated Account Manager to assist with introductions to suppliers, translations, and price negotiations, taking notes on quality, sizes, prices and helping to make design selections. No orders are too large or too small.
Prices for an 8 hour shopping program is Rp250.000 (approx US$25 per person)
Any goods purchased on the day, and paid in full to the suppliers are collected the next day, brought to our warehouse to be packed ready for shipping. Any items which need to be ordered / customised are handled by the Account Manager after you return home and are subject to 15% Sourcing Bali fee - ONLY these items are subject to any fees - we charge only for the services that we provide.
So, if you are renovating or building, you should certainly consider Bali as the source for your building materials, stone, ceramics, marble, furniture and accessories - and make huge savings.

| Bali Street Children Project |

From time to time, we like update you on projects and charities that our company / our team has been involved in. I was recently told about a special foundation which assists street kids in Bali.
BALI STREET CHILDREN PROJECT (Yayasan Kasih Peduli Anak)
YKPA helps street children in Bali by providing a caring home, schooling, and a new life. For children still in the streets, we offer reading and math classes on the beach. Underlying our work is AIDS and abuse prevention by helping young girls avoid prostitution, and giving teens alternatives to making their siblings beg. YKPA needs help to continue. There are many more children needing help, and projects aimed at prevention require funds. YKPA is a non-profit and non-denominational organization.
