Sourcing Bali News - August Edition

We are proud to once again bring you the latest news from Sourcing Bali and our supplier partners.

We have a full showroom of new and interesting furniture and furnishings to share with you, as well as updates from new suppliers that we have sourced.  We have also updated the website with a new range of products.

The high season is upon us, and while the hotels are not as busy as we would hope, the business is slowly returning to Bali.

Our office showroom has a new face, with many new items being produced for samples. New to this collection is a beautiful range of sonokeiling timber pieces - including bedroom setting, occasional chairs, interesting side tables, armoire and desk.

We've also included a stylish range of contemporay living room furniture in sanded rattan skin,  and a setting of living and bedroom furniture in teak. These stylish models are perfect for casual or formal living spaces and can be enhanced with a complementing range of soft furnishings and accessories.

We are pleased to introduce a new quality supplier of a wide range of coco shell / cinnamon and resin inlay.

August 17th marks the day of Independance for Indonesia.  The offices of Sourcing Bali / Rim Cargo will be closed.

(Monday 21st August is also a public holiday - our offices will be closed.)

The 2006 Pameran Produk Expor (Export show) will be held in Jakarta from October 11-15.  This year, Sourcing Bali and RIM CARGO will be exhibiting at the show for the first time. 

The exhibition features the lastest designs from furniture manufacturers in Indonesia plus the latest in homewares, handicrafts and accessories.

We invite our customers from all over the world to join us at the show - to see the latest that Indonesia has to offer. All of the Account Managers from Sourcing Bali, as well as Nengah and Niti from RIM cargo will be in attendance at the show - come by our booth and enjoy FREE INTERNET anytime and a cooling glass of wine or Vodka ! (After 3pm please !!) (Hall C - booth #147)

We'll be handing out CD roms of all of our suppliers from Bali who are too small to join the show - part of our committment to our network of friends in Bali.

The  SB/RC team will staying at ALiLa Jakarta - if you would like to join us - preferred rates are available through Sourcing Bali.  Rp550.000 nett per room per night - including breakfast.

Paulina has recently joined us as a new Account Manager (Sales) - Paulina will be handling our many SPA inquiries as well as taking care of incentive and conference giftware.

Paulina is fluent in English, and her outgoing personality will be a great addition to the team.

If you are in Bali on any Thursday night and want to try your hand at Badminton - come and join the SB / RC crew.

More than 20 of us are regular players of this sport - and each Thursday we have friendly matches against one other. Courts are close to our office - equipment supplied ! Just come on over.

We have recently signed the lease on a new office / shop in Seminyak which will become the branch office of RIM CARGO.

The new office will provide a pick up / drop off service for customers who need assistance with their collection of goods.  We will also be providing FREE INTERNET for customers, business centre services (copying, fax, email, scans) - as well as selling a wide range of packing materials / boxes / tape etc.

We move on November 1st and promise to bring you more news in the next edition of Sourcing Bali news.
