Sourcing Bali News Dear Friends, I am very pleased to once again bring you the latest news from Sourcing Bali and our preferred suppliers.
In this edition, we're reporting on the latest uploads, including some new additions to our showroom, as well as reports on some new projects, new suppliers, and some updates in staffing. As always, I take this opportunity to thank you for your most valued support. As we enter our 11th year of operation, we are acutely aware that we could never have achieved our goals without your ongoing help. THANK YOU.
Please remember, if you're happy with us.. tell others... if you're not, tell me.
Warmest regards, |

Whilst we try to upload as much product as we can, the sheer volume of product that we source makes it impossible to keep up. Instead, we prefer to load only items that are unique, best quality, and hopefully not readily visible with any other sites.

| A source of inspiration | |||||
A visit to our offices is often a source of inspriation for many designers. Recently, a leading Sydney designer came to our offices and was inspired by a simple yet superbly crafted dining chair which we have on display. Some minor adjustments were made to the seat, replacing the timber seat with thin smart leather upholstery - and an order for 100+ chairs followed.
Our bamboo room divider, seperating our staff area from the showroom sewed the seeds for another idea - and an order of hundreds of Black Bamboo painted dividers was placed.
Samples of beautiful resin blocks where the inspiration for another customer who has since ordered her desks top in one solid peice of deep cobalt Blue.

| Fibre Glass - a perfect solution | ||
We've recently been working with Fibre glass manufactures to produce a range of outdoor tables, sofas and chairs and have been delighted with the results. Fibre glass can be moulded to almost any shape and is both durable and practicle for commercial applications for outdoor areas. it can be painted with any colour of duco paint, and is suitable for seaside locations. Fibre glass can be a perfect solution for external uses where maintenence needs to be minimal. These peices can be left outside and simply wiped down from time to time. (we also suggest quick dry foam for any external cushions / and sunbrella fabric for covers)
We're currently working on a number of new designs in fibre glass, including oversized ottomans, benches, and daybeds. Please let us know if you have any specific needs or designs that you have in mind. | ||

We are seeing a growing trend in lanterns. More and more orders for private homes, villas and resorts now include lanterns. Bali has a wide range of lanterns, made from stainless steel, brate plate, bronze or timber and we frequently customise orders for our clients. Lanterns are often featured in lifestyle and decor magazines and are ideal for outdoor use, as well as accenting a dining or living area / hearths etc. Most recently, we have sourced and supplied a wide range of lanterns - here are some examples.
For details on these lanterns, or any customised orders for them - please email robert@sourcing-bali.com

| Holili - Synthetic outdoor furniture | ||||||||||||
We have been a long time supporter of HOLILI brand of Synthetic Outdoor Furniture - many of you already have this featured in your homes. The designs are smart, creative and stylish and are made to the highest standard. Hardware and frames are built to last and we have a very high rate of approval on these from our customers. We love selling Holili. Sadly, Holili is closing their Bali showroom in order to focus on their production in Java - however, we are delighted to announce that all display samples are now on display EXCLUSIVELY at our Sourcing Bali showroom and orders are available. We have selected the best sellers from the Holili range and we look forward to continuing to promote these quality products. For more information on these Holili items - please email desmond@sourcing-bali.com

| Wine chillers | ||
I liked this one so much.. I bought one for myself.. We were recently asked to create / produce a wine chiller for the Park Hyatt in Maldives - and the result was this oversized, nickel plated brass wine chiller and matching trays. This stunning piece is dia.60cm x 31cm H and is also available in polished brass. We are certain that these will become a hit with hotels, resorts and small business owners :-) For details, please email me desmond@sourcing-bali.com

| Gates, gates, gates | ||||||||
We are currently working on a quote for gates for a client in Fiji and I am reminded of all the wonderful gates that we have made for clients over the years - now standing proudly in dozens of countries around the world. Customised gates can be made from iron or stainless steel or timber and can feature a wide range of designs, logo's and finishes. Here's a few examples of our history of gate making. For further details of these designs or your own customised gates - please email robert@sourcing-bali.com

| Farewell Pipin |
It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the farewell of Pipin from the Sourcing Bali team. Pipin has been with SB for nearly 8 years, and has decided to become a stay at home mum for at least a year to look after her two beautiful kids. (6 & 2) Pipin's last day will be the 16th of December, so any current orders will still be handled by her. We're already looking for her replacement, which won't be easy - but I'll let you know once we have a new person on board. We wish Pipin and her family all the very best, and we hope we can welcome her back sometime.

| Orders for Christmas |
As we approach the end of month, we are reminded that we have just 4-5 more weeks until Christmas. This also means that the deadline for shipping any orders is near. We are currently pushing orders through so that we can ensure a pre-christmas loading. Ports will likely be closed from around the 22nd of December and not likely re-open until the new year - we will have further clarification closer to the date.
Warmest regards, |
